Graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia in 2000, she achieved an honors degree in her final project with a focus on painting. She furthered her education at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and at the Colegio de España in Paris. Her artistic journey has encompassed participation in artistic residencies and the receipt of awards and grants, such as the Habitat Artistic grant from Castellón City Council – EACC, the Piramidon residency grant in Barcelona, the O Barco de Valdeorras Foundation grant in Orense, the Picasso Museum residency grant in Malaga, the Rodríguez Acosta Foundation grant, and honors like the Senyera de Pintura de Valencia, the Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia award, and an Honourable Mention in the BMW award.

Rebeca Plana has maintained a regular exhibition schedule since 2001, displaying her work in both solo and group exhibitions on both the national and international stage. She is also an active participant in art fairs including JustMad (Madrid), Estampa (Madrid), ARCO (Madrid), and Gent Artfair (Belgium). Furthermore, her creations have found their place in significant collections, spanning both public entities (Comunidad Valenciana) and private holdings.
